Dr. Brigitte Grewe is a compassionate and dedicated family medicine physician who believes in building lasting relationships with her patients and their families. She is passionate about whole-person care by listening closely, partnering with patients, and helping them feel empowered in their health journey.
As a Maryland native, she is a graduate from the Honors College at the University of Maryland with a degree in Microbiology and a minor in Leadership Studies. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, New Mexico. In 2025, Dr. Grewe completed her family medicine residency training at the MedStar Health Georgetown University Family Medicine Residency Program in Baltimore as Chief Resident where she developed a strong foundation in preventive care, chronic disease management, and mentorship.
Dr. Grewe provides respectful, inclusive, and evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs. She takes a special interest in women’s health, lifestyle medicine, young-adult/adolescent medicine, and wellness and is honored to partner with her patients at every stage of life. Dr. Grewe is trained in IUD and Nexplanon insertion and will be bringing her skills of long-term contraception management to BW Primary Care. She is also passionate about osteopathic manipulative treatment, a hands-on approach to diagnose, treat, and prevent disease by moving muscles and joints through techniques like stretching, gentle pressure, and resistance in order to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Outside of the office, Dr. Grewe enjoys cooking healthy meals, exploring the outdoors, traveling with loved ones, playing tennis, and trying out fun classes on Class Pass.
She is currently welcoming new patients and looks forward to caring for you and your family.
