Nancy McAlduff received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Emory University in 1989, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Summa Cum Laude, from Arizona State University in 1999, became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2009, completed both her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, specializing in Family Practice, and her certificate in Teaching in Nursing and the Allied Health Professions, in 2023 at the University of Maryland. Her previous work experience includes high risk inpatient labor and delivery, postpartum, special care nursery, and outpatient settings as a breastfeeding peer counselor, an educator, the breastfeeding peer counselor program coordinator for Maryland WIC, and private practice lactation consultant. She is passionate about patient education and strives to partner with patients in meeting their health and wellness needs.
Nancy grew up in Atlanta, has lived in Phoenix, Tucson, and Boston, and has called Maryland home for the past 11 years. A former runner, Nancy enjoys yoga, walking, hiking, and biking. Her hobbies include knitting, reading, and baking. She enjoys traveling and spending her free time with her husband and their two sons, ages 20 and 22.
